【摘要】:ThispartofISO28721specifiesrequirementsforthethermalshockresistanceof,andheatingandcoolingproceduresfor,glass-linedapparatus,components,accessoriesandpipesprimarilyusedforprocessequipmentinchemicalplants.Itspecifiesthelimitsofthermalshockresistanceusingdiagrams(seeFigure1andFigure2).Forglass-linedsteel,adistinctionismadebetweenathermalshockontheglass-linedside(producedbycharginganapparatus)andathermalshockonthesteelside(producedbyheatingorcoolinganapparatus).ThispartofISO28721appliestooperatingtemperaturesfrom?25°Cto+230°C.Itisonlyapplicabletoenamelledunalloyedandlow-alloycarbonsteels.

【摘要】:Thepurposeofthistestmethodistomeasuretherateofthermalenergyperunitareatransferredintoaknownpieceofmaterial(slug)forpurposesofcalibratingthethermalenvironmentintowhichtestspecimensareplacedforevaluation.Thecalorimeterandholdersizeandshapeshouldbeidenticaltothatofthetestspecimen.Inthismanner,themeasuredheattransferratetothecalorimetercanberelatedtothatexperiencedbythetestspecimen.Theslugcalorimeterisoneofmanycalorimeterconceptsusedtomeasureheattransferrate.Thistypeofcalorimeterissimpletofabricate,inexpensive,andreadilyinstalledsinceitisnotwater-cooled.Theprimarydisadvantagesareitsshortlifetimeandrelativelylongcool-downtimeafterexposuretothethermalenvironment.Inmeasuringtheheattransferratetothecalorimeter,accuratemeasurementoftherateofriseinback-facetemperatureisimperative.Intheevaluationofhigh-temperaturematerials,slugcalorimetersareusedtomeasuretheheattransferrateonvariouspartsoftheinstrumentedmodels,sinceheattransferrateisoneoftheimportantparametersinevaluatingtheperformanceofablativematerials.Regardlessofthesourceofthermalenergytothecalorimeter(radiative,convective,oracombinationthereof)themeasurementisaveragedoverthecalorimetersurface.Ifasignificantpercentageofthetotalthermalenergyisradiative,considerationshouldbegiventotheemissivityoftheslugsurface.Ifnon-uniformitiesexistintheinputenergy,theheattransferratecalorimeterwouldtendtoaveragethesevariations;therefore,thesizeofthesensingelement(thatis,theslug)shouldbelimitedtosmalldiametersinordertomeasurelocalheattransferratevalues.Wherelargeablativesamplesaretobetested,itisrecommendedthatanumberofcalorimetersbeincorporatedinthebodyofthetestspecimensuchthataheattransferratedistributionacrosstheheatedsurfacecanbedetermined.Inthismanner,morerepresentativeheattransferratevaluescanbedefinedforthetestspecimenandthusenablemoremeaningfulinterpretationofthetest.Theslugselectionmaybedeterminedusingthenomogramasaguide(seeAppendixX1).1.1Thistestmethoddescribesthemeasurementofheattransferrateusingathermalcapacitance-typecalorimeterwhichassumesone-dimensionalheatconductionintoacylindricalpieceofmaterial(slug)withknownphysicalproperties.1.2Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.1.3ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Nootherunitsofmeasurementareincludedinthisstandard.Note18212;ForinformationseeTestMethodsE285,E422,E458,E459,andE511.
