【摘要】:1.1ProductdefinitionThisEuropeanStandardcontainstheinitial,startoflifedimensional,optical,mechanicalandenvironmentalperformancerequirementswhichaterminatedandassembledsinglemoderesilientalignmentsleeveLX.5APCconnectorset(plug/adaptor/plug)shouldmeetinorderforittobecategorisedasanENstandardproduct.Sincedifferentvariantsandgradesofperformancearepermitted,productmarkingdetailsaregivenin3.6.1.2IntermateabilityAlthoughallproductsconformingtotherequirementsofthisEuropeanStandardwillintermate,theresultinglevelofrandomattenuationperformancewillonlybeensuredinaccordancewithTable1.Theintentionisthatthiswillbetrueirrespectiveofthemanufacturingsource(s)oftheproduct.Whenintermatingplugvariantshavingdifferentattenuationgrades,theresultinglevelofattenuationcannotbeassuredtobeanybetterthantheworstattenuationgrade.TheintermatingofagradeCplugwithagradeBplugwillresultinanuncertainlevelofrandomattenuationperformance.1.3OperatingenvironmentThetestsselectedcombinedwiththeseveritiesanddurationsarerepresentativeofacategoryUenvironmentdescribedinEN61753-1.1.4ReliabilityWhilsttheanticipatedservicelifeexpectancyoftheproductinthisenvironmentis20years,compliancewiththisspecificationdoesnotguaranteethereliabilityoftheproduct.Thisshouldbepredictedusingarecognisedreliabilityassessmentprogramme.1.5QualityassuranceCompliancewiththisspecificationdoesnotguaranteethemanufacturingconsistencyoftheproduct.Thisshouldbemaintainedusingarecognisedqualityassuranceprogramme.
